My name is Rebekah, and I've been lurking for the last few weeks. I thought it was about time to come out of lurkdom and introduce myself.

I raise a few Jersey Giant and Welsummer chickens, and I'm a total newb to Sebastopols. I got a pair (Tulsi and Teasel) from Vicky this summer, and am completely in love. Tulsi, Teasel, and I take daily walks around the pasture, and they've quickly become a form of stress management for me. We even walked today, despite the huge dumping of over a foot of snow.

I'm also a small business owner, occasional blogger, newly empty nester, and need another hobby like I need a hole in the head.

Thank you for the welcome, Becky, Vicky, and Rosanne! Rosanne, my brother lives in Cornwall. Are you getting all the rain that he's getting?

For now, I'll probably just ask occasional questions. I'm so very new to geese, and learning as I go.
